Here are some photos of our amazing family friends that I captured when I was in San Luis Obispo a few weeks ago.   It is so amazing to see how our lives have changed in such a short period of time.  When my wife and I first met Seth and Val we were all Sophomores in College.  Now almost eight years later, we’re both married with kids.  Even thought the dynamics have changed, we still know how to have a good time.  Scott’s 1st birthday party, surfing, taking pictures and playing on the beach all made our trip to San Luis Obispo a memorable experience.

Grass Valley California Photographer ~ Monterey Wedding

I first met Eric and Reut at a coffee shop in Oakland. The three of us hit it off right away…almost as if we had known each other for years. We talked about everything from travel to sports and eventually ended with their wedding plans. I could tell that they had a deep love for each other and a zest for life.  When they first told me about their plans to get married on a beach in Monterey I got really excited. It was going to be my first wedding on a beach and photo ideas started filling my head. One of the ideas that excited me most was a sunset picture of Reut and Eric on the beach. The coast is always a little unpredictable, I was worried it was going to be foggy…lucky for us the sun peeked out at the end of the day and gave us the treat I was hoping for.

Sacramento Ca Photographer ~ Avila Beach Family Photo-shoot

Hanging out with friends, surfing, sunbathing and taking pictures…It doesn’t get much better than that!  Last week I took a quick trip to my old college town, San Luis Obispo.  While I was there I had the opportunity to photograph Regina and here daughter Kendra at Avila Beach on a 90 degree November day.  You gotta love the weather here in California, especially this time of the year!

Auburn California Photographer ~ The Ridge Golf Course Wedding

Details, details, details…Marcella and Jaime’s wedding was full of wonderful details.  From Marcella’s beautiful dress to the caramel apples on the tables, everything seemed to fit together perfectly for this fall wedding.  I have had the opportunity to photograph several weddings at the Ridge in Auburn and it’s cool to see how each bride has been able to personalize the venue to fit their own style.  Congratulations Jaime and Marcella!
