I love country weddings! I think deep down I should have been a cowboy because there is something about shotguns and boots that brings a smile to my face. Janet and Jeff tied the knot back in April in Zamora at the old Mary’s Chapel and had their reception at the Zamora Town Hall. Congrats Janet and Jeff, your wedding was amazing!!

I shot Jackie and Brian’s engagement photos back in April when there was still a tiny bit of snow left on Donner summit. They really wanted to have their engagement pictures done in the snow because Brian popped the question while they were on a ski lift at Squaw. Since most of the resorts were already closed we were able to sneak on a lift and snap some fun pictures. Their wedding is less than a month away near Lake Shasta. I look forward to working with them again.

I shot a wedding last Saturday at the Ananda Meditation Center outside of Nevada City (pictures to come in a few weeks). On Sunday my family I decided to visit my brother and sister-in-law that just moved to San Francisco. On our way home we stopped in Oakland to take a few pictures of San Francisco at sunset. Here is one of the shots I got. I have a ton of engagement and wedding pictures to post and wedding season is now underway. It is going to be a fun summer:-)
